Our children’s ministry is called LILO kids (LILO stands for Live In Live Out). We want our children to both grow up in the worship of the church while also receiving instruction that is tailored to them. This means that we have all our children participate in the first half of our worship service, singing and praying with us. At the midpoint of the service we invite kids to participate in our Children’s Church where they will learn a gospel-centered biblical story from the Jesus Storybook Bible or The Biggest Story Storybook Bible. After the service our kids will share a meal together, just as the adults do, and then they will have a Sunday School lesson where they go even deeper (more creatively and interactively) into the Bible story they learned in Children's Church.

At Renew, your child’s safety is very important to us. That is why we hire experienced childcare workers. They not only go through background checks, but also take a MinistrySafe course. We want you to feel comfortable leaving your child and knowing they will be safe while having fun and learning.

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at LILO Kids is to raise up world-changers who understand who Jesus is and how that changes their lives. And, they'll have a ton of fun!

We have a nursery for infants up to age three, our LILO Lambs. Our nursery is staffed with experienced and professional childcare workers. Everyone in our nursery and children’s ministry have been background checked and given ministry safe training. We also provide a couple of rocking chairs for any mothers or fathers who want to keep their kids in the service.
LILO TWEENS
LILO TWEENS
Our 5th, 6th, and 7th graders make up our LILO Tweens group. They participate in our church service and lead our congregation in our Affirmation of Faith. They also take part in a Sermon Challenge designed to help them follow along with the sermon while doing fun challenges to keep them stay engaged and learning. After the service, the tweens meet with their leader to talk through the questions in The New City Catechism and discuss the sermon.

Yes! Both our nursery and Sunday school teachers have several years of experience working with special needs children. We are here to work with parents to make sure every child receives the love and care they require to flourish in our Sunday school.
